The Centro Internacional de Oftalmología Avanzada Prof. Fernández-Vigo is an ophthalmology centre serving patients in Madrid, Badajoz and Évora. Led by Professor Fernández-Vigo and a team of specialist ophthalmologists, the centre provides information, consultations and treatment for a broad range of eye conditions.

Its services include refractive surgery for myopia, hyperopia and astigmatism, cataract surgery, and procedures for presbyopia, alongside care for glaucoma, retinal and corneal conditions, dry eye, strabismus and other disorders. The centre also offers paediatric ophthalmology, including eye examinations and assessment of conditions such as amblyopia and childhood strabismus, as well as diagnostic testing, contact lens and glasses guidance, and oculoplastic and neuro-ophthalmology services. Patients can request appointments at the clinic closest to them, and weekday urgent care is available by appointment.

The organisation highlights more than 55,000 surgeries performed and emphasises patient recommendations. Its work also includes teaching, research and public-facing eye-health information; the centre reports receiving second prize at the European cataract and refractive surgery congress, ESCRS
