Fernwood Veterinary Practice is an independent, family-run small-animal clinic serving Millbrook and the surrounding Vale since 2009. Based at Tanner’s Row, the practice cares for dogs, cats, rabbits and other small pets, with an emphasis on unhurried, personal attention and continuity of care. Its small team includes two veterinary partners, nursing staff and a practice manager.

Services include health checks and consultations, vaccinations, parasite prevention, dentistry, neutering and other soft-tissue surgery, plus in-house blood testing, digital X-rays and ultrasound. Fernwood also provides senior-pet care, mobility and comfort clinics, and home visits for end-of-life support. The practice offers wellness plans that spread the cost of routine care, with options for cats and small pets, dogs, and older animals.

Appointments are available Monday to Saturday, with same-day slots reserved for sick pets. The practice’s own team provides out-of-hours emergency support by phone. Fernwood welcomes new clients and helps them register their pets, including transferring medical histories. It is located at 14 Tanner’s Row, Millbrook.
