BC Maréchalerie is the equine farriery and hoof-care business of Cédric Balocchi, a trained farrier and equine podiatry practitioner. Established in June 2000 after five years of training, the business serves horse owners between Auch, Montauban and Toulouse. Its services support both leisure horses, including those used for rides and trail outings, and sport horses ridden at club or amateur level, as well as horses at two professional stables involved in high-level dressage and CCI 4* eventing.

BC Maréchalerie provides farriery, hoof trimming and advice tailored to each horse’s activity and environment. More than half of the horses in the practice are unshod, making appropriate trimming an important part of supporting their movement. Cédric also offers locomotion expertise and care, and regularly follows horses in clinics to assess or optimise shoeing, including at the start of a sporting season. Ongoing professional training and collaboration with veterinarians help inform the service, with the aim of supporting sustainable, effective riding and horse care.
