FESORD CV

FESORD CV is a nonprofit federation representing and defending deaf people and their families in the Valencian Community. Led by deaf people, it works to uphold rights, promote sign language, and build a more accessible and inclusive society, reinvesting its resources in opportunities and support. With a history of organized activity dating back more than a century and a federation established in 1978, FESORD combines advocacy with practical services for people at different stages of life.

Its programs include family and early-childhood support, services for deaf people with additional disabilities, older adults, young people, and migrants, as well as employment support, volunteering, and adult speech therapy. FESORD provides sign-language interpretation and translation, accessibility initiatives, and training through its sign-language school, which offers courses from A1 to B2 in person and online. It also delivers employment training, family guidance, and activities for children and young people. Through live broadcasts and accessible cultural and public-space initiatives, FESORD helps reduce communication barriers and supports fuller participation in community life.
