Festausschuss Velberter

Festausschuss Velberter Karneval e.V. is an organization dedicated to supporting carnival traditions and bringing the Velbert community together. It coordinates activities across the city’s carnival season, working with local carnival societies and helping present Velbert’s designated city and children’s carnival royal couples. The association shares news, seasonal information, event dates, and details about street carnival, while preserving records of past sessions in its archive.

Its website provides information and registration options for carnival activities, including the Rosenmontag parade, and introduces the Fanfarenzug FVK and its rehearsals. The organization also promotes events for carnival-goers and the wider public, with festivities currently held at Forum Velbert. Visitors can find ticket-sale information for carnival gatherings and contact the association with questions or feedback. Beyond seasonal celebrations, the Festausschuss encourages cooperation among Velbert’s carnival clubs and supports opportunities for members and families to meet, including a joint summer festival. Through event coordination, community connections, and the sharing of local carnival news, it helps keep Velbert’s carnival traditions active and accessible.
