Fest'irlande

Fest’Irlande is an association and cultural festival based in Pleaux, in France’s Cantal department, dedicated to sharing and celebrating traditional Irish music, singing and dance. Its fifth edition is scheduled for 7–11 July 2027, bringing musicians, visitors and music lovers together in the Auvergne. The festival connects Irish cultural traditions with the welcoming local spirit of Pleaux and the wider Cantal region.

The Festival In programme offers masterclasses for beginners and experienced participants in singing, dance and traditional instruments, alongside concerts and an affordable céilí, a traditional social dance. Festival Off activities bring spontaneous music to the town’s terraces, with sessions where participants share tunes, songs and dance, including reels, jigs, polkas and waltzes. Workshops and other activities also build cultural connections between Ireland and Cantal.

Fest’Irlande provides practical information for visitors, including guidance on local food and accommodation, travel, and participation. The association invites supporters to join online and helps foster an accessible, convivial gathering centred on live music, shared traditions and community.
