Festival CZ-PL is a cultural initiative organized by the Foundation CZPL Łączy Nas Granica, bringing Polish and Czech communities together through music, art and shared experiences. Held in Kudowa-Zdrój, near the Czech town of Náchod, the festival celebrates the region’s long-standing cultural connections and takes place in the historic Czech Corner. It was founded on actor Paweł Królikowski’s belief that culture and song can strengthen friendship and cooperation between the two nations; since his death in 2020, he has been the festival’s patron.
The foundation presents a varied program featuring concerts, artistic performances, conversations and meetings, as well as activities connected with Czech art, literature and film. It welcomes professional artists and amateur creative groups, alongside local residents and visitors. Past festival guests have included Polish and Czech performers such as Helena Vondráčková, Jaromír Nohavica, Ewa Farna, Ewa Bem and Marek Piekarczyk. Concerts, screenings and meetings are free to attend, and selected events are streamed online.
