The Festival du Livre de Paris is a major celebration of books and reading, welcoming audiences to explore literature in all its forms. Its next edition is scheduled for 16–18 April 2027 at the Grand Palais. The festival brings together authors, readers and publishing professionals through a varied programme spanning literature, comics, children’s books, romance, crime fiction, fantasy and the humanities.
The 2026 edition welcomed 121,000 visitors over three days and an evening event, with 1,800 authors, more than 300 discussions and 3,000 book-signing sessions. Across 12 stages, participants could attend conversations addressing books and contemporary issues, alongside exhibitions celebrating comics. The festival also provides a programme for industry professionals and activities for school groups. Its website offers recordings of talks from the Agora, festival news and information about previous editions, as well as a newsletter for updates. By bringing writers, readers and cultural organisations together, the Festival du Livre de Paris creates opportunities to discover new ideas, meet authors and share a broad interest in reading.
