Festival of Friends is a Hamilton, Ontario, community festival known as Canada’s largest free music and arts festival. Held at Gage Park over the August long weekend, the annual event brings together audiences, musicians, vendors, volunteers, and sponsors for a celebration centered on accessible live entertainment. Its program features music across four stages, alongside arts and more than 150 vendors offering festival visitors a wide range of goods and experiences. A large midway adds another attraction for attendees of different ages.

The festival welcomes the public with free admission and invites community support through donations and volunteer participation. Its website provides event schedules, festival information, a map, frequently asked questions, vendor details, sponsorship information, and an archive of past festivals. Visitors can also sign up for the newsletter to receive lineup announcements and other news. Following its 50th anniversary celebration in 2026, Festival of Friends thanked its performers, partners, volunteers, vendors, and attendees, and announced plans to return to Gage Park the following August for its 51st edition.
