Twist is Canada’s premier textile festival, celebrating the art and craft of fiber in an inclusive and vibrant environment. Founded in 2012 by Amélie Blanchard, a passionate fiber enthusiast and cashmere goat farmer, Twist has become a vital gathering for textile lovers, artisans, producers, and enthusiasts from all backgrounds. The upcoming 12th edition will take place on August 9-11, 2024, in Saint-André-Avellin, QC, featuring over 130 vendors, 40 workshops, and a variety of engaging activities including sheep herding demonstrations, textile performances, and kid-friendly events.
Attendees can immerse themselves in the textile market, participate in hands-on workshops, and enjoy a local food fair. Tickets range from $15 for individual day access to a $30 weekend pass, with free admission for children 12 and under.
