Festland Baumpythons

Festland Baumpythons is the personal website of Michèl Kroneis, dedicated to the care and breeding of green tree pythons, including Morelia viridis and Morelia azurea. Drawing on the author’s own experience and exchanges with other keepers and breeders, the site brings together an evolving collection of information for both newcomers and experienced reptile enthusiasts. Topics include taxonomy, terrarium equipment, husbandry, breeding preparation, incubation, hatchling care, health, quarantine, and common problems such as shedding difficulties, dehydration, and feeding refusal.

Particular attention is given to the northern line of Morelia azurea, including the subspecies pulcher and utaraensis, as well as the southern-line Morelia viridis. The site also features photographs, literature recommendations, links, and downloadable resources. Selected captive-bred animals, including Morelia azurea pulcher and utaraensis, may be available, with handover arranged to self-collectors.

The author emphasizes that the material reflects personal experience, is not exhaustive, and should be considered alongside specialist literature and careful observation of each animal
