About Fête du Jour Events
Fête du Jour Events is a full-service wedding and event planning company serving Washington, D. C., Virginia, Maryland, and destinations worldwide. Led by Jennifer and supported by planners Michelle and Elise, the team creates celebrations inspired by European garden parties, château weddings, and intimate villa gatherings, weaving in each couple’s personal story.
Its services accommodate a range of needs, from planning an intimate elopement or grand wedding to stepping in during the final months so clients can enjoy the lead-up and celebration. The team emphasizes intentional design, attentive organization, professional vendor guidance, and a calm, collaborative planning experience. With more than 80 weddings planned, Fête du Jour Events draws on Jennifer’s background in fashion and beauty editing to bring design sophistication and careful attention to detail to its work.
The company has received The Knot Best of Weddings and WeddingWire Couples’ Choice Awards and was named a 2026 Top Wedding Vendor by Virginia Living Magazine. Its work has also appeared in Style Me Pretty, Richmond Magazine, Business Insider, and NBC News
