Feudenheim eV“ Ortsgeschichte

The Verein für Ortsgeschichte Feudenheim e. V. is a local history association dedicated to preserving and sharing the stories, heritage, and dialect of Feudenheim, a neighborhood of Mannheim. Its website brings together information about the area’s historic buildings, monuments, memorials, landmarks, and local traditions. The association also publishes articles on subjects such as Feudenheim’s mention in the Lorscher Codex, its surrounding islands, historic inns, and the Quetschegräwl, a popular community gathering place.

Visitors can explore exhibitions documenting local life and craftsmanship, including displays on toys, traditional trades, and historic coffee machines. The association organizes visits and guided walks in and around Feudenheim, and welcomes the public to its Vereinsheim on scheduled opening days. These visits may include house tours and opportunities to meet over coffee and cake. Through its news and cooperation with other local groups, the association also shares community events and supports causes connected with neighborhood life, including efforts to preserve the Pauluskirche and maintain the Feudenheim youth center.
