About FEWJapan
FEW Japan is an active and ever-growing non-profit organization based in Tokyo but serving women nationwide in Japan. Originally standing for Foreign Executive Women, FEW was founded in 1981 by two foreign entrepreneurs and has since evolved to empower thousands of women inside and outside the country. Their mission is to enable internationally-minded women in Japan to achieve their full professional and personal potential.
FEW offers various support services for women, including assistance for those starting something new or just moving to Japan. They provide a friendly and supportive internationally-minded community where members can make connections, gain knowledge, and find employment opportunities. They organize regular monthly networking meetings, a Peer to Peer professional development program, and diverse events featuring guest speakers.
These events, workshops, and seminars offer actionable takeaways and valuable learning experiences. Membership in FEW is open to women of all nationalities and includes professionals from various industries, as well as students and interns. By joining FEW, women can be a part of a supportive community where they can grow alongside engaged peers and enjoy the benefits of networking and mentorship opportunities
