Founded in Berlin in 1974, the Feminist Women’s Health Center (FFGZ) is an independent, nonprofit organization offering more than five decades of feminist health expertise. Its multidisciplinary team provides empathetic, holistic and discrimination-sensitive health information, counseling and support, with a particular focus on gynecological health. FFGZ welcomes anyone seeking guidance on its health topics, including non-binary and gender-fluid people, and offers consultations online and by phone as well as in person.

The center helps people explore options and make informed decisions, drawing on medical knowledge, complementary approaches and self-help practices. Its services include individual counseling, workshops, talks, health courses and events, with additional support for people facing challenges related to displacement, violence or unemployment. FFGZ also shares resources through its library, downloads, the clio journal, brochures and other publications. Through its work, the organization promotes empowerment, bodily understanding and self-determination, providing a supportive space for questions that may not receive enough time in conventional healthcare settings.
