FGL Limburg

FGL, the Federation of Disability Organisations in Limburg, connects and supports associations, foundations and platforms that represent people with visible or invisible disabilities and chronic conditions. Its work is guided by the principle “together, for each other,” with a focus on collaboration, participation and inclusion across the province.

FGL’s activities cover adapted transport, policy, care and inclusion, governance and organisation, participation, positive health and accessibility. Eligible organisations in Limburg can join its network free of charge and benefit from opportunities to connect, strengthen their work and collaborate.

A key initiative is Toegankelijk Limburg, which helps residents and visitors find information about the accessibility of public buildings, facilities and spaces. Its searchable listings include assessed buildings and public objects, public toilets and accessible parking spaces. People can also use an assessment form to review an object’s accessibility.

FGL shares regional news, events and opportunities, including activities organised for and by people with disabilities, and publishes volunteer roles and vacancies.
