FGU Kolding & Vejen is a preparatory education institution in Denmark supporting young people under 25 who need guidance and a tailored pathway toward further education or employment. Its programs are designed around each student’s starting point, interests, and goals, with guidance available at its Kolding and Vejen locations.
Students can choose from three pathways. AGU helps prepare them for a youth education program through academic subjects and an individual education plan. PGU offers practical, workshop-based learning for students who learn best by doing, with subject areas including construction, trade and customer service, communications and media, food and nutrition, metalwork, motor mechanics, music, and health and care. EGU combines work experience at a local business with relevant school subjects or additional courses, helping students progress toward a job or vocational education.
The institution also offers introductory courses that students can start at any time, while main AGU and PGU intakes take place in January and August.
