FGU Syd- og Midtfyn｜Vi

FGU Syd- og Midtfyn is a preparatory education provider serving young people under 25 who have not completed an upper-secondary education. Its schools in Svendborg, Faaborg, and Ringe help students prepare for further education or employment through practical, supportive learning.

The organisation offers three main programmes. General Basic Education combines practical learning with general academic subjects. Vocational Basic Education includes work experience at a real workplace, while Production Basic Education centres on teaching and hands-on activities in workshops. Students can explore subject areas such as trade and service, events, construction, care and health, nature, food, design, and media.

FGU Syd- og Midtfyn also provides information and guidance for prospective students, including help understanding whether they qualify for FGU and which pathway may suit their goals. Visitors can book a school tour, and students can access support related to dyslexia and special educational needs. With locations across South and Mid-Funen, the organisation aims to help each student find a route toward education and work.
