Fidèle à Châtel

Fidèle à Châtel is a local-support initiative launched by the Commune of Châtel-St-Denis to encourage residents to shop locally and strengthen the community’s economy. Established with a CHF 500,000 fund, the program offered eligible adult residents personal, confidential discount codes to purchase CHF 100 shopping vouchers at a reduced price. The vouchers can be used for products and services at participating local shops and artisans, excluding large chains and other specified businesses such as banks and the Post Office.

Participating businesses can be identified by a Fidèle à Châtel sticker, and a directory is available on the initiative’s website. Residents could validate their codes online or at the municipal finance office. The voucher operation ended on 31 December 2025, and no additional discount codes are available after a voucher has been used.

Vouchers already purchased remain valid at participating businesses until 31 December 2026. The initiative promotes the diversity of local commerce while providing participating residents with practical financial support
