FIDES – Orfeão de Valbom is a cultural and community association based in Valbom, in the municipality of Gondomar, Portugal. Founded on 21 September 1985 at the then-under-construction Centro Social de Valbom, it began with a group of young people and adults brought together through a shared commitment to singing and community life. Since then, FIDES has developed a broad programme of cultural and sporting activities, serving local residents and representing Gondomar through its work.

Its activities include the FIDES choir and a music school offering training in drums, piano, guitar, saxophone and violin. The association also provides dance activities, including ballet, and supports basketball through FIDES Gondobasket. Beyond these programmes, its cultural work has included poetry, visual arts and theatre, alongside concerts, performances and community events. News from the association highlights choir performances, poetry gatherings, ballet galas and basketball tournaments. FIDES welcomes people interested in taking part in its activities and becoming members, continuing its role as an active presence in the local cultural and sporting community.
