About Fields of Joy Foundation
Fields of Joy Foundation is a brand dedicated to educating, preserving mental health, and preventing all forms of bullying in Puerto Rican children. It was created in memory of Dr. Joy Lynn Suárez-Kindy, a pioneer in the fight against bullying in Puerto Rico.
Driven by passion, conviction, optimism, and action, Dr. Joy had a multidimensional approach to addressing the challenges faced by children and youth. The foundation aims to continue her legacy and make a lasting impact on society.
With a focus on the well-being of vulnerable populations, Dr. Joy was recognized as the Psychologist of the Year in 2016 for her contributions to social welfare and mental health. She conducted extensive research on bullying, authored books and manuals, and formed global partnerships to address trauma.
