Fieldworks Design Group

Fieldworks Design Group is a multidisciplinary design firm based in Pretoria, South Africa. Founded in 2015, the practice brings architecture, landscape architecture, urban design, and graphic design together to address the connected economic, social, and environmental dimensions of sustainable cities. Its approach emphasizes close integration between design and construction, holistic collaboration across disciplines, and respectful engagement with the distinctive requirements of each project. Fieldworks aims to create sustainable, resilient environments through an open, fluid design process.

The firm’s architecture and interior design work includes residential, affordable and urban housing, mixed-use and public-use developments, and educational projects. Its landscape and urban design services cover residential landscapes, public and commercial spaces, and sustainable landscapes. The practice also provides graphic design, including branding and corporate identities, as well as products and installations, web and digital design, and editorial and print work. By combining these areas of expertise, Fieldworks can contribute to projects across the built environment and visual communication, integrating its knowledge to support coherent design outcomes.
