Fière la fête is an annual celebration organized by Fierté Sherbrooke Pride, bringing the 2SLGBTQAINB+ community and its allies together in Sherbrooke, in Quebec’s Estrie region. Since 2013, the event has offered an educational, festive, family-friendly and inclusive way to celebrate diversity and create connections across the region. Its 2026 edition is scheduled for September 9 to 13.
The program features a variety of community and cultural experiences. Events include an official launch and art exhibition, a community day with activities such as storytelling, zine-making and literary discussions, and a queer market showcasing regional and visiting artists, artisans and makers. The celebration also presents drag performances, including Gates of Drag, hosted by Sherbrooke drag artist Gina Gates. Alongside its public programming, Fière la fête invites people to get involved as volunteers or members and encourages organizations to become partners. The festival is organized in collaboration with the City of Sherbrooke’s Arrondissement des Nations, supporting a welcoming space to celebrate expression, inclusion and community.
