Fieteri Oy is a child welfare provider based in the Seinäjoki urban area of Finland. Its central location offers children access to schools, support services and local leisure activities. Fieteri’s residential services are for children and young people aged 7 to 17, with staff experienced in psychiatric and neuropsychiatric care and upbringing.
The organisation operates three specialist residential units. Kieku and Jyry mainly serve primary-school-aged children, while Kaiku is intended primarily for lower secondary-school-aged young people. Alongside residential care, Fieteri offers outpatient services, including aftercare, professional support-person services, family work, group activities and other forms of support.
Fieteri’s aftercare helps young people take their first steps towards independent life, with preparation beginning during their time in residential care. Its family services can also be adjusted to meet changing needs. Through these services, Fieteri supports children, young people and families while connecting its care and support work with the schools and other services available in the surrounding community.
