Fifth Quarter

Fifth Quarter is a Toronto-based youth basketball league and development platform that brings together competition, culture, community, character, and content. Its Friday-night 3v3 league serves boys and girls in Grades 5–12, with a featured division for Grade 9–12 boys. The six-week seasons include regular-season games, playoffs, All-Star showcases, and championship events, with players competing for recognition and trophies such as the Croddie Cup and Screwface Cup. Games feature timed play, a shot clock, music, and a high-energy event atmosphere.

Beyond basketball, Fifth Quarter offers mentorship, life-skills workshops, leadership development, mental-health programming, financial literacy, career readiness, and entrepreneurship education. Players can also benefit from media coverage, video highlights, AI-driven player statistics, and exposure opportunities. The organization aims to support growth both on and off the court, while creating a welcoming, structured experience for families and strengthening connections across Toronto neighbourhoods. The league is presented as free to participate in, with events hosted at De La Salle College’s Student Life Centre.
