Fight Academy

Fight Academy by Ilona Schumacher is a martial arts and movement studio located at Bamberger Straße 50 in Berlin. Founded and led by Ilona Schumacher, a champion and experienced martial arts instructor, the academy offers training for children, teenagers and adults, from beginners to competitive athletes. Its karate classes start at age three and include age-based groups, adult training, and dedicated kata and kumite competition sessions. Adults can also train in boxing and kickboxing, with membership options covering one, two or all martial arts.

The academy provides women’s self-defense classes focused on practical skills, safety and confidence. It also welcomes Muslim women wearing head coverings to a specially designed course taught in a respectful setting attentive to religious norms. Stretching classes develop flexibility, fluid movement and physical wellbeing. The weekly schedule includes classes from Monday to Saturday, with trial sessions available by inquiry. Membership prices vary according to program, training frequency and contract length; a one-time registration fee applies to several courses.
