For nearly two decades, Fight for Peace has supported young people from our east London Academy by combining the power of combat sports with mentoring, youth leadership programs, employability assistance, and education. Today, that mission has gone global. Through our local Collective, national Alliance network and partnerships with over 120 organisations worldwide, we have now trained 120 organisations in our methodology and produced resources to support young people and organisations around the country and internationally. About Fight for Peace
Fight for Peace is a brand dedicated to supporting young people and promoting peace. They believe that in order for young individuals to thrive, they need access to opportunities, support, and a safe environment. Unfortunately, many young people in the communities they serve lack these basic rights, which hinder their development.
Moreover, high levels of violence in these communities disproportionately affect young people, exacerbating the problem. Fight for Peace recognizes young people as agents of change and tackles these challenges through three strategic focuses. Firstly, they work directly with young people at their Academies, providing integrated programs of support and inclusion using the Five Pillars model.
Secondly, they collaborate with community-based partners worldwide through their Alliance, exchanging skills, knowledge, and support to strengthen youth-focused programs. Lastly, they bring together diverse partners, services, and organizations to prevent violence and support young people in focus communities through a collective impact methodology. Fight for Peace is youth-led, guided by five values—embracing, solidarity, champion, inspiring, and courage.
They have a global presence, working with young people in various countries, and provide information about their work and impact through their institutional film and history.
