Figure of Speech Pathology

Figure of Speech Pathology is a paediatric speech therapy practice based at The Kite Centre in Frenchs Forest, serving children and adolescents aged 0–18 across Sydney’s Northern Beaches. Its team provides neuro-affirming, person-centred care and evidence-based support, tailoring therapy to each child’s strengths, interests, and goals. The practice works with families to build practical communication skills, set meaningful goals, and recognise progress.

Services include comprehensive communication assessments, with a written report and recommendations, as well as individualised therapy. Support covers early language development, speech sounds, receptive and expressive language, literacy, fluency and stuttering, social communication, and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), including low- and high-tech systems. Sessions are designed to help children participate more confidently in everyday life, learning, and relationships.

Appointments are available at the Frenchs Forest clinic, online through telehealth, or as mobile services at home or school. Figure of Speech Pathology offers families flexible ways to access support in settings suited to their child.
