Filantropis | Chajul is a non-profit association that invests in the potential of youth to generate sustainable changes in the community through access to university education and social entrepreneurship. Founded in 2015 in Chajul Quiché, the organization started its work in 2012 under the status of the Philanthropiece Foundation of Colorado. In 2016, they formally and legally administered the implementation of the University Scholarships and Social Entrepreneurship programs.

Their mission is to shape agents of change who bring an innovative approach to community development. Their vision is to create an innovative community where people have opportunities and access to goods and services with a social purpose. They value their passionate and excellence-driven approach to their activities and constantly seek ways to improve through innovation.

They believe in open and honest relationships that foster a sense of community and generate positive impact in the region. With their Cultiva Program, Filantropis invests in the learning process of entrepreneurs while they create or improve their business models.
