Filey Brigg Angling Society is a friendly, family-oriented sea fishing club based in Filey on the North Yorkshire coast. Established in 1922, the society describes itself as one of the largest and most respected angling clubs in the North East of England. It welcomes new members of all ages, abilities and experience, from beginners to seasoned anglers, and offers a community centred on enjoying sea fishing and sharing the experience with others.
Members can take part in a variety of angling competitions and matches, attend social events, and follow club results and notices. The society’s website provides information about membership, club rules, safety guidance, competitions and match results, as well as a gallery and local tide times for Filey. Annual membership is £20 for adults, £5 for OAPs and ladies, and £2 for juniors. Prospective members can apply or contact the club with questions. Filey Brigg Angling Society offers a welcoming way to connect with fellow anglers and enjoy the challenge, relaxation and natural setting of sea fishing.
