Filmic Animation

Filmic Animation is a Stockholm-based creative studio and production company led by directors, producers, designers, and animators. The team makes advanced animation accessible and enjoyable, guiding clients from early ideas through creative development and final delivery. Its services include concept development, storyboards and animatics, illustration, concept art, character design, and animation for commercial films, game trailers, brand storytelling, and other film and CGI projects.

Filmic works across 2D and 3D animation, cel animation, stop motion, and advanced simulations, combining techniques and compositing to suit each project. The studio also creates 3D models, develops visual styles, and handles character animation, lighting, and rigging. Sound design, music, voiceover, and editing are arranged with external partners, while finished films are tailored for platforms such as social media, television, and live events.

With projects recognized by Cannes Lions, D&AD, NYX, and MUSE Awards, Filmic serves brands and agencies worldwide. Its work includes projects for clients such as Clash Royale, Minecraft, Polestar, Tetra Pak, and Lynk & Co, bringing Scandinavian design sensibility to visual storytelling.
