Filotimo Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to supporting adults living with cystic fibrosis (CF). Inspired by filotimo, a Greek concept associated with generosity and giving without expecting anything in return, the foundation aims to help people with CF live fully and build the families they choose.

Its direct financial assistance helps cover essential medical and everyday expenses, including medications, hospital bills, equipment, transportation, food, lodging, rent, utilities, education, and other living costs. The foundation also offers family-building support, including grants and assistance for fertility treatments such as IVF and sperm retrieval, genetic testing, and adoption-related expenses.

Beyond financial help, Filotimo Foundation advocates for the CF community by sharing patient and family stories, educating the public, and promoting awareness to reduce stigma.
