FILSCAP, or the Filipino Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers, is a non-profit association established in 1965. As a non-stock, non-profit society, FILSCAP represents composers, lyricists, and music publishers, granting legal permission to music users to publicly play, broadcast, or reproduce copyrighted musical compositions. Accredited by the Intellectual Property of the Philippines and a member of the International Confederation of Societies of Authors and Composers, FILSCAP administers the public performance and communication to the public rights of music creators.

They also secure the necessary licenses for music users to enjoy the power of music. FILSCAP goes beyond being a collective management organization, as they are music advocates. They conduct events to promote public awareness and respect for music copyright, as well as events that support local music creation and development.
