FinalApproach. net is an online archive of historical flight and ship records, with information dating from 1990 onwards. It brings together searchable records for aircraft, flights, airlines, routes, airports, ships and harbours, helping users explore transport history by vessel, location, route or date.

The archive lists 49,583 aircraft, more than 21 million flight sectors, 86,758 ships and over 49 million ship position reports, alongside 12,933 routes, 997 airports and 3,630 harbours. Its flight coverage is strongest for British Airways, Lufthansa, Air France, KLM, Austrian and Swiss, particularly from 2020 onwards; the site notes that coverage varies by year and place. Users can search or browse records and follow consistent addresses from an airline, aircraft or airport overview down to a specific year, date or flight.

FinalApproach. net is designed as a historical reference, not a live tracking service: its records show what was archived and do not indicate current aircraft or ship locations. The archive is rebuilt regularly, with new records added over time
