Financially Proud is a judgment-free financial coaching service founded by coach Clayton Fielding. It helps members of the LGBTQ+ community and others build confidence in managing money, make informed financial decisions, and work toward their goals. The coaching combines practical guidance on the “how-to” of personal finance with support for the emotional challenges that can accompany financial decisions.
Clients can begin with a free 30-minute consultation to discuss their goals, concerns, and future plans. Depending on their needs, Financially Proud offers focused sessions on one or two specific areas of their finances, or a general financial review and plan outlining money moves for the next one to three years. Coaching can address issues such as changes in income, upcoming goals or life changes, and overall financial health. Clayton’s approach emphasizes teaching clients what to do, why it matters, and how to make choices that suit their circumstances. Financially Proud also states that each quarter it donates to a nonprofit supporting the LGBTQ+ community.
