About Financing Alliance for Health
Financing Alliance for Health (FAH) is a dynamic, African-led partnership dedicated to overcoming systemic financing challenges in primary and community health initiatives across sub-Saharan Africa. Recognizing that over 615 million people in Africa lack essential health services, FAH aims to improve access to quality healthcare through innovative strategies and collaboration with local governments. The organization focuses on empowering Community Health Workers (CHWs) to reach vulnerable populations, thus bridging health access inequities.
FAH promotes various initiatives, including the Africa Frontline First Initiative, Corporate Sponsored Models, and the Community Health Financing Hub, to enhance community health financing. Their commitment to knowledge sharing is evident through online courses, case studies, and advocacy publications.
