Our countryside location is unique! Enjoy our rural retreat with only a 20 minute countryside walk, or 5 minute car journey to Tarifa town and its beautiful beaches. Delight in going hiking and mountain biking directly from your doorstep i nto the surrounding natural parks and beaches; or you can simply relax in our garden savouring the stunning views, enjoying a BBQ on your terrace. Finca La Cantarera has 19 acres of land, a mixture of clay and loamy soils, mainly left to grazing pasture. It’s a wild habitat, purposefully kept like that to attract wildlife, to nurture the birds on their migratory journey across the Strait of Gibraltar. To allow the ecosystem to thrive and grow. Birdwatchers love our apartments as they can observe a wide range of birds from their front door; migrating raptors such as Black Kites, Booted Eagles alongside birds that live in the scrublands: Woodchat Shrike, Stonechat and many more. Each day starts with watching the sun creep over the hills. You'll hear the moment the donkey brays for breakfast; the insects buzz, birds tweet and chickens squawk to be free to forage. The day is fresh, clean, energised and ready for activity.
