Fine Art America

Michael McKenney is a photographer and visual artist based in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where he lives with his wife, Dorothy. He describes photography as both his passion and an ongoing educational journey, reflecting a commitment to exploring and developing his craft. His work includes wildlife imagery and distinctive photographs of water and milk drop collisions. Using high-speed imaging techniques, McKenney captures fleeting figures formed when drops meet—moments that last only milliseconds and cannot be recreated exactly. These images turn brief physical events into fine-art photographs, offering viewers an unusual perspective on motion and form.

Through his online art shop, customers can browse and purchase his images on a range of products. Available options include canvas and framed prints, art prints, posters, tapestries, greeting cards, and other home décor and gift items. The shop also presents his work in themed collections, including a wildlife collection and a water drop collisions collection. Visitors can explore his images, follow his artist profile, contact him, or join an email list for updates.
