Fine Art Conservation

Burica Inc. Fine Art Conservation and Restoration is a New York City practice dedicated to preserving and repairing paintings, works on paper, sculptures, and other artworks. Led by a peer-reviewed Professional member of the American Institute for Conservation, the practice brings decades of experience and combines scientific precision with an artist’s understanding of materials and techniques.

Services include cleaning and stabilizing paintings and paper artworks, treating tears, dents, stains, creases, cracks, and flaking paint, and repairing frames and structural supports. Burica also restores sculptures and objects made from materials such as bronze, brass, wood, and plastic, including bronze cleaning and protective wax coatings. Each treatment is carefully planned using reversible materials, supporting the artwork’s continued care by future conservators.

For collectors and art professionals, the practice offers collection assessments, pre-purchase condition reports for galleries and auction houses, and remote video consultations using professional lighting to help identify damage or previous repairs.
