Finncabinova

Prefi is a Finnish stove-safety brand offered by Oy Finncabinova Ab, helping households reduce the risk of cooking-related fires and giving families greater peace of mind. Its main product, the Prefi stove guard, monitors the temperature of a cooker’s surface, warns when it becomes excessively hot and automatically cuts the power if it detects a dangerous situation. It works with different types of cookers, including induction models and cookers that already have safety features, without requiring users to change their usual cooking routines.

Prefi is available in wireless and wired models. The wireless version uses batteries in its temperature sensor, while the wired option avoids the need to replace sensor batteries. Both models offer adjustable settings to suit users’ needs. The product is manufactured in Sweden by Cabinova International AB and comes with an eight-year functional warranty. The brand serves people seeking safer independent living, including older adults and people with memory challenges, as well as their families.
