About FinnCobalt Oy
FinnCobalt is a leading brand in the production of cobalt and nickel chemicals for the battery industry. Known for its responsible and traceable approach, FinnCobalt aims to meet the growing demand for these essential materials in a sustainable manner. The company acquired the former Keretti mining area in 2016 and has been developing the project ever since.
Through extensive sampling and testing, FinnCobalt has successfully produced nickel-cobalt concentrate that is suitable for battery chemical production. In 2020, the company secured financing from Eurobattery Minerals AB, further advancing the project. FinnCobalt has also received support from ELY-Center for business development.
With a valid environmental permit in place, FinnCobalt is committed to minimizing environmental impact. The company has conducted extensive drilling campaigns, resulting in a recent updated mineral resource report.
