Currently in closed beta, the app is scheduled to launch on the App Store and Google Play on November 1, 2026. Users can post or find dive plans, request to join, and coordinate details in an automatically created group chat, with participation confirmed through commitments that close when a group is full.

The app includes a map featuring more than 14,000 dive sites and over 800 dive centers with contact details. Its other features include direct messaging, groups, photo sharing, a dive logbook, a sightings album, community galleries, and a safety check-in that can remind users or raise an alert if they miss their planned return. Premium extends limits on friends, groups, and gallery photos; SMS escalation to emergency contacts is also offered with Premium. Basic features are free, and finndr says it uses no advertising trackers.
