About Finnish Design Embassy
Finnish Design Embassy is a platform that provides Finnish design companies with unique access to the international market. They offer a diverse export channel for design companies operating in Finland, showcasing high-quality and sustainable Finnish design to the world. Through a series of events held in Finnish embassies worldwide, Finnish Design Embassy allows companies to showcase their products and expand their presence in the global design industry.
The Finnish Design Embassy team provides support in event production, marketing, PR, and B2B sales, tailored to meet each company's specific needs. They assist in creating individual and valuable opportunities for companies to exhibit their products during design weeks or at other suitable times. The events are carefully planned and curated to highlight Finnish design innovation and craftsmanship.
Companies can apply to participate in the Finnish Design Embassy throughout the year, and a selection of 1-2 design companies per event will be chosen. Participation involves an investment of approximately €4,000, covering embassy space rental, participation fees for design weeks, catering, and the company's travel expenses.
With the aim of minimizing travel and adapting to the challenges presented by the pandemic, Finnish Design Embassy offers the flexibility to organize events in hybrid or fully digital formats, adhering to local pandemic guidelines.
To learn more about this exciting initiative and how your design company can participate, contact Päivi Balomenos or Ilkka Suppanen. Finnish Design Embassy is the gateway to showcasing Finnish design excellence on the global stage.
