Finnjollen

The Swedish Finn Association (Svenska Finnjolleförbundet) is the national organization for Finn dinghy sailing in Sweden and has been part of the international Finn class community since its founding in 1954. Its goal is to develop Swedish Finn sailing, support members and broaden participation in the sport. The association also values the social community and quality competitions as ways to encourage more people to sail Finn dinghies, a single-handed class that featured in the Olympic Games from 1952 to 2020.

The association serves sailors and enthusiasts through membership information, a register of boats, personal sail-number details and news about Swedish and international Finn sailing. Its website shares competition results, photographs, documents, sailing history and event information, including coverage of championships and master-level regattas. Members can find details about the association’s board and honorary members, subscribe to its newsletter and access member login services. The site also provides a calendar, links to relevant sailing resources, a Finn Shop and a classifieds section for buying, selling or advertising Finn-related items.
