Yup is an Indonesian financial technology platform operated by PT Finture Tech Indonesia, also known as SamaKita. Registered with and supervised by Indonesia’s Financial Services Authority (OJK) as a provider of Digital Financial Innovation, Yup connects customers with paylater services offered by licensed financial institutions. Its aim is to make flexible payments accessible for everyday spending and financial planning.
Through the Yup app, customers can access paylater options with advertised 0% interest*, instalments of up to six months, and credit limits of up to Rp100 million. The company says registration can take around 15 minutes and that its service has no annual fee. Yup also provides access to shopping through a Visa-based card, which can be used at more than 19 million participating offline stores. Customers can use the platform to shop, pay everyday bills, track spending, and receive bill reminders in one app.
