FIPAL Laufental

FIPAL Laufental is the fishing lease association for the Laufen district, based in Zwingen, Switzerland. The association supports local recreational fishing and helps manage access to nearby waters, including the Birs, Moossee, Lüssel and Lützel. Its website provides information about fishing permits and day tickets, along with the regulations and conditions that apply to different waters and permit types. FIPAL also offers training, including a standard SaNa course, and provides activities and information for young anglers.

Beyond fishing, the association brings members and the wider community together through events and practical conservation work. Volunteers take part in regular Birsufer clean-ups, removing litter from riverbanks, and workdays focused on maintaining the grounds around the association’s Schälloch venue. The calendar also includes social and food-related events, such as a culinary walk and public appearances featuring locally prepared fish. FIPAL publishes updates, event details, regulations, statutes and a club magazine, helping members and visitors stay informed about its activities and the responsible use of local fishing waters.
