FIPI

The Federation of Indian Petroleum Industry (FIPI) is an apex association representing entities across India’s hydrocarbon sector. It serves as an interface between the oil and gas industry, government departments and regulatory authorities, helping address sector issues and contribute to the development of policies and regulations. FIPI also represents industry perspectives on government bodies, committees and task forces, and aims to be an influential voice supporting a globally competitive industry trusted by society.

Its work spans upstream and downstream operations, natural gas, refining, pipelines, city gas distribution, petrochemicals, energy alternatives, safety, taxation and sustainability. Through member services, specialist committees and industry forums, FIPI provides opportunities for collaboration and engagement on topics including investment, tariffs, cybersecurity and environmental practices. The organisation also convenes webinars and other events, recognises contributions through awards, and promotes energy innovation through startup challenges.
