Firda vgs ligg på Sandane i Gloppen kommune. Vi har 370 elevar og 75 tilsette. Vi er kjent som ein hybelskule der ca 50% av elevane bur på hybel. På ettermiddag/kveldstid har vi Open skule som er eit aktivitetstilbod til alle våre elevar. Her kan du gjere lekser, møte venner, kjøpe billeg middag, vere med på klatring og ete gratis kvelds. Her møter du Liv, vår miljøkoordinator, som er med å skape trygge gode rammer for elevane. Vi har desse utdanningsprogramma/tilboda: studiespesialisering idrettsfag musikk, dans og drama vaksenopplæring

About Firda
Firda vgs is a renowned educational institution located in Sandane, Gloppen municipality. With a dedicated staff of 75 and a student body of 370, Firda vgs is known for its unique hybelskule (boarding school) setup, where approximately 50% of the students reside in hostels. In addition to regular classes, Firda vgs offers an exciting and engaging activity program called Open skule in the afternoons and evenings.
Open skule provides opportunities for students to complete their homework, socialize with friends, enjoy affordable meals, participate in rock climbing activities, and even have a free evening snack. The program is supervised by Liv, our environmental coordinator, who ensures a safe and supportive environment for all students. Firda vgs offers a range of educational programs, including studiespesialisering (academic/general studies), idrettsfag (sports), musikk, dans og drama (music, dance, and drama), kombinasjonsklasse (combined classes), and vaksenopplæring (adult education).
