The center provides nurturing care and creative, hands-on learning for children from six weeks through Pre-Kindergarten, with an emphasis on play, social-emotional development, resilience, and each child’s individuality. Its approach encourages children to express themselves, solve problems with peers, and learn naturally through their surroundings.

Firefly offers full-day infant care for ages six weeks to 24 months, accommodating individual feeding schedules and providing organic whole-food options for children eating solids. Its preschool program is available full or half day and includes circle time, movement, music, art, and activities guided by the Little Acorn Curriculum. The more structured preschool period runs from 9 a.m. to noon.

The center’s learning environment features natural and wooden toys, sensory experiences, outdoor time, and creative activities. Children may also take part in baby sign language, Spanish, yoga, meditation, and music.
