About Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation
Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation is a non-profit organization that aims to impact the lifesaving capabilities and the lives of local heroes and their communities. Founded in 2005 in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, the foundation was created by Firehouse Subs founders, Chris Sorensen and Robin Sorensen. They witnessed firsthand the needs of first responders and survivors, which inspired them to do more.
The foundation focuses on various funding areas, including providing lifesaving equipment to first responders, prevention education to the public, scholarships and continued education for those pursuing a career in public safety, disaster relief assistance, and support for members of the military. With the generous support of donors, the foundation is able to provide essential resources and support to ensure the safety and well-being of communities across the United States.
